Goddesses and Monsters: Towards a Feminist Iconography

The exhibition Goddesses and Monsters: Towards a Feminist Iconography critically reimagines goddess and monster iconography from a feminist perspective, creatively disrupting patriarchal tropes of goddess and monster archetypes, and recasting them in more liberatory and empowering ways. This iteration of the Goddesses and Monsters exhibition features a broad range of works on paper, including: sketches, drawings, paintings, collages/femmages/décollages, prints, graphic artworks, concrete poetry, video stills and photography.
Goddesses and Monsters: Towards a Feminist Iconography is a Curated by The Association of Hysteric Curators The exhibition will be at the Art Museum at SUNY Pottsdam in New York December 2nd to February 14, 2025 and then it will travel to The Fine Arts Gallery at the University of Wisconsin.
